Belated Birthday Wishes

There's been a lot going on here recently, and unfortunately I'm posting this a week late.

Andi was mad because we made her stop peeling the stickers off the paper and sticking them to the table. But she was very happy when she was making her card.

Arlie's face shows it all. She was singing "Happy Birthday" when I took the photo.

Port Townsend

Since today was a holiday Andrew had the day off from work. It's my usual day off, so we were pretty excited to do something as a family. Since there was only a 30% chance of rain we decided to go walk around one of our favorite towns, Port Townsend. It didn't rain on us, but it was pretty chilly!

 

 The reason Andi is the only one with portraits is because her and I went for a walk down the wharf while Andrew and Arlie popped into a shop.

Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium

Arlie woke up this morning excitedly telling me that we were going to go visit the elephants and penguins and all the other animals. Like a lot of stuff that comes out of her mouth, I have no idea where it came from. But it was a gorgeous day, why not? To Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium we went:

 Now we're home and the girls are napping. I think we're all happy and exhausted. I used to think I wanted three kids but I could barely keep track of the two very energetic ones that I already have! For what was supposed to be a leisurely stroll through the zoo, I did a LOT of running. It's like dropping two ping pong balls and trying to decide which one looks like it's moving away faster to chase after first. Heheh.
