Using just my necklace I was able to hook a Spotted Grumpy-Face Arlie. When you catch something like that you sure don't throw it back!
I was trying to re-enact that Titanic scene (except NOT over the water. No way.) but Arlie was not cooperative. She kept twisting around to smile at me. I didn't mind.
Here's my cuties. We went to Friday Harbor in the San Juan Islands for the day. It was a pretty long ferry ride and extremely beautiful. Arlie took her first half-step on the ferry without anyone holding her hand. She's getting braver! Probably better for the other passengers that she didn't take her first full steps- there would have been hollering and squealing along with lots of hugs and eskimo kisses. Someone would have lost their lunch.
We mostly window-shopped and had an excellent dinner at Downriggers restaurant. Arlie tried steamer clams, gorgonzola cheese and meatloaf all for the first time. She's a good eater - hopefully she stays that way!
