I opened up our package from Grams & Poppy and one of the gifts had a little note to Arlie that said "open now". I gave her the gift to open and she happily ripped off the paper to reveal what was inside. After placing the rest of the presents in the present pile I went downstairs to finish getting ready for work.
I came upstairs to this:
She had opened
all the presents. All I could do was laugh. We didn't discuss
not opening the other presents and even if we had, it's a lot of self-restraint to ask for from a 2-year-old.
And on another day Arlie was talking about having to go to the bathroom. I suggested she go to her potty. Again, I went downstairs to finish getting ready and heard a terrible clattering from above. I ran upstairs to make sure she was OK and found this:
