Here's Arlie, perfectly posed in her Christmas present from Heidi:
I think the Hello Kitty ring adds a little certain something, don't you?
She came up to me yesterday with a spatula tucked in the belt loops of her jeans. She offered me a serving spoon and asked if I wanted to be a man.
A man?
Yep, a man. And she took her spatula out and put it back in the belt loops to demonstrate. So I did the same with my spoon.
Then she pulled out her spatula and wielded it like a sword. And I figured out what was going on. So we played Rider Flynn (the "man" from Tangled) and had a good old-fashioned "sword" fight.
She loves to dress up and play pretend.
Andi would like to show you something, too.

Any stranger that came across this blog would think we had a girl and a boy. Heck, even when I dress Andi in head-to-toe pink I still get told what a cute "boy" I have. Funny that people are so hung up on gender cues (like longer hair), even in toddlers.
